Cancellation Policy
At Achieve Treks & Expedition, we understand that sometimes plans change, and you may need to cancel your trek or expedition. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to our clients while accommodating the necessary preparations and logistics involved in organizing our treks and expeditions.
1. General Trek Cancellation
- 14 Days or More Before the Trek Start Date:
Full refund of the deposit or any payments made - Less Than 14 Days Before the Trek Start Date:
No refund, but we will offer flexibility to reschedule your trek for a future date, subject to availability.
2. Expedition Cancellation
- 30 Days or More Before the Expedition Start Date:
Full refund of the deposit or any payments made. - Less Than 30 Days Before the Expedition Start Date:
No refund, but we will offer flexibility to reschedule your expedition for a future date, subject to availability.
3. Great Himalayan Trail (GHT) Cancellation
- 30 Days or More Before the GHT Start Date:
Full refund of the deposit or any payments made - Less Than 30 Days Before the GHT Start Date:
No refund, but we will offer flexibility to reschedule your GHT for a future date, subject to availability.
4. Customized Trip and Package Cancellation
- 30 Days or More Before the Start Date of Your Customized Trip or Package:
Full refund of the deposit or any payments made. - Less Than 30 Days Before the Start Date of Your Customized Trip or Package:
No refund, but we will offer flexibility to reschedule your trip for a future date, subject to availability.
5. No Refund Policy
- After the Cut-off Dates Specified Above:
No refunds will be issued for cancellations made after the specified dates. However, we will do our best to offer you the option to reschedule your trek, expedition, or customized trip for a later date.
6. Cancellation Due to Emergencies
- • Illness or Other Emergencies:
If you need to cancel your trek due to illness, family emergencies, or other unforeseen circumstances, please contact us as soon as possible. We will work with you to reschedule or process any applicable refunds according to our standard cancellation policy.
7. Trip Cancellation by Us
- Unforeseen Circumstances:
In rare cases, Achieve Treks & Expedition may need to cancel a trek or expedition due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, political unrest, or other safety concerns). In such cases, we will offer a full refund or the option to reschedule for a later date. - Insufficient Bookings:
If we must cancel a trek due to insufficient bookings, you will receive a full refund of any payments made.
8. Travel Insurance
- • Recommendation:
We strongly recommend that all clients purchase travel insurance that covers trip cancellations, medical emergencies, and other unforeseen events. This ensures that you are protected in case you need to cancel your trek or expedition at the last minute.
